Scott Krahn died suddenly and the news hit Okauchee hard. He owned the Hideaway and people knew him as a solid guy who looked out for folks around town. His girls Olivia and Alexis put out word that their dad was gone and it still does not feel real. They asked for space and some quiet support while they try to get through the days.
Scott put his daughters first every time. Both of them helped out at the Hideaway so the place felt like home more than just a bar. Friends say you could see how proud he was of them. That part of his life mattered more than anything else he built.

Thomas Modl knew Scott since they were kids. He called him quiet, steady, and fair. The two of them took over the Hideaway together back in 2015. Thomas still talks about how Scott never cut corners and always did right by people.
Family sat with him at the end. His wife Dawn was there with Olivia and Alexis. One relative remembered him as the cool uncle who loved his motorcycles and dogs and always made time for the ones closest to him.
People keep saying the same things about Scott. He showed up. He treated everyone decent. The Hideaway brought folks together because of the way he ran it. That kind of man leaves a mark you notice when he is gone.
No funeral plans are set yet. The family said they will share details when they are ready. Right now they just need room to breathe.
Scott leaves behind Dawn, Olivia, Alexis, and a whole lot of friends in Okauchee who will miss seeing him around. The Hideaway will not feel the same without him.
